That all depends , there are allot of factors . Hair color only lifts out natural hair color about 2 levels and it WILL NOT lift out previously applied hair color at all . So , if your hair is any darker than a dark blonde you will need to pre bleach the hair to lift it to the correct level , then tone to desired results . Again hair color dose not lift previously applied hair color out , it will only lift virgin hair that has not been colored . To lift previously applied hair color you must use bleach to strip out the color .When going blonde the results are more natural looking if you weave the hair using tin foil .If you want it way blonde just do a heavy weave . Unless your going for the Marylin Manroe look , I would always use the foil weave method to go lighter .You should definitely seek out a professional hair stylist when going lighter on the hair , it gets tricky and its real easy to end up with orange or yellow hair if you don't know what your doing .Will buying the lightest blonde hair color turn my hair blonde?
if you have dark hair it might go a tiny tiny bit lighter the 1st time if you are lucky but 99% of the time it will just turn orange. you will have to bleach it. and even if you do get lucky and it turns a tiny bit lighter the second time there is a even higher chance it will turn orange. so def. bleach it.
depends on what color your hair is now.
With the right ingredients yes. DO NOT go to wal-mart and get a blond. It never works out. Trust me.
Sally's Beauty Supply is the best. From this store you will need.

--------------Before I answer this (I have been through this very process, it is horrible for your head and hair!!!) I am going to tell you, you are better off going to a cosmetology school. The prices are very reasonable and they do a great job!!!----------------------------------鈥?br>
It depends on the color of your hair right now. If your hair is currently dyed a light brown you are going to need to bleach everything BUT the roots which is very tedious, Your roots are the first to process so they will turn a completely different color than the rest of your head, so you have the bleach on your head. Now you wait... and wait... and wait, it takes a while for the bleach to lift the color you already have on your head so this is going to take a while. Once you have achieved the desired color, apply bleach to the roots and wait about 15 mins or until roots match the rest of your head.
To get the lady gaga white blond. (the only color I ever am) I tone my entire head after I rinse COMPLETELY rinse the bleach out of my hair.
let that process for 10 mins and rinse. and you are done!!!
hope it works out, peace
