Blonde hair coloring?

Ok the story is my hair is a natural kinda dark blonde... now its a light blonde but my roots have grown out over an inch and i want to go a bit lighter... so if i use a home kit to go about 3 shades lighter will it become brassy and will it even out my darker roots or will they still be darkerBlonde hair coloring?
It depends on the kind of blonder. I would suggest getting a 30 Minute Blonding kit. They sell them in proffesional salaon stores. But yes it should even out just heat more of the roots then other hair.Or go a few shades lighter on the roots.Blonde hair coloring?
You could still bleach or dye your hair blonde. I suggest going to sallys and getting some toner. That will eliminate the brassyness and any other unwanted color giving you a nice blonde color

Blonde Hair Coloring?

I'm going to be getting my hair colored at the salon this week (again, over a dark red/brown color) and I wondered if it would be possible (and look right) to dye it blonde.

I am aware that the stylist would have to bleach my hair before they colored it and would this be too much damage for my already damaged hair to take?

Also, I am caucasian with a medium skin tone, dark brown eyes and light brown eyebrows. My hair is wavy/curly and falls roughly 3 inches below my shoulders. My natural hair color is a light to medium brown.

Do you think it would be a good idea to go blonde?Blonde Hair Coloring?
I think if you went blonde right away it may be too much for your hair to take. I'd suggest getting some blond highlights or going full blown blonde in stages.. so your hair isn't ';Shocked'; You should ask your stylist about this.. she should have the perfect answer for you- and if you feel like you can't talk to her about, maybe you should find a salon where you can! Hope this helpsBlonde Hair Coloring?
i would go to one of those websites that you can put in a pic of yourself, and try different shades of hair color to see if you would look ok if you went to blond....

awe, just put chunks of blond in your hair, because people won't take you seriously if you go blond, for some reason. And if this is your boyfriends idea, get a wig. good luck in your ventures!!
I would not go for all out bleaching that really would be to hard on your hair if it's dry %26amp; damaged. Try med hi-lites for now and start a deep conditioning treatment. Within a few weeks you'll be ready for all over lighting.
I think that if you look good in the color blonde then do it . If you like the blonde hair then try it you clould always cahnge your hair back to your hair color
Well what i did was i dyed it dark brown. Then i bought this product ';Sun in'; it really worked
NO

Stay the way you are.

just purchased 30 volume ';quick white'; powder at sally's with a 30 volume developer. it says on the bottle not to let the dye touch the scalp, but i'm not sure how to apply it and color the roots without having it touch the skin. what should i do?Blonde Hair Coloring?
Quick white is the product used for streaking, highlighting ,frosting, but not for plain bleaching, therefore it's to strong for regular blond, for regular bleach you can use Clairol's

ultra blue with boosters, ask at Sally's, but make sure the person knows about colorBlonde Hair Coloring?
if you use a dye brush it might make it easier to not get it on your scalp. but i don't have any suggestions other than that.

Would I look good blonde? hair coloring advice would be helpful :)?

I've always wanted to be blonde but I don't know if it would look good with my skin tone. maybe some highlights? my skin is slowly getting darker from tanning (I know it bad for me! but I use a tanning oil with spf)

    thanks.

I'd say no. I'm a hairdresser and I have this conversation with my clients all the time. Not everyone is meant to be blonde. I actually think you would look better with DARKER hair (and a new haircut, as your fringe is somewhat uneven and it needs to be a little shorter). I would love to get my hands on your hair. I would do an all-over warm brown color. Just like a really rich mocha color. Then just through the top, I'd put really fine dark blonde highlights....not anything golden blonde but something just a few shades lighter than the all over mocha. I'd do it like a partial foil just through the top and sides just to break up the all over color and make the color a little more personalized. You'd have very fine, natural looking dark blonde highlights. This would look more natural and go much better with your skin tone. And by keeping the blonde somewhat darker than the typical beachy summer blonde, it would grow out better and you wouldn't have such noticeable outgrowth and, thus, could go longer inbetween retouches. Your hair would also not look like you have to go get it colored, which is always great for people who want to be blonde. Then I'd take your hair up a few inches, about an inch above the shoulders. It would great with a lot of layers. It was kind of hard to see the layers in the pic you gave, but I'd probably start the layers right at the cheek bone. It will give the hair more interest, and frame your face more. I would connect the fringe (bangs) to the rest and you'd have all these funky, gorgeous pieces that would hide when all your hair is down and fall out around your face when you put it up in a pony tail. So yes, if you stayed a darker blonde (tell your hairdresser you want level 7/8 highlights) with a mocha brown base (tell your hairdresser you want the base/main color to be a level 4/5 mocha or level 5 warm) then you could pull off a blonde. But if you're thinking Jessica Simpson/Paris Hilton blonde, I'd say no, you couldn't be a blonde, even with the tan. I'm a natural blonde and even I color it darker just because of the undertones of my skin. You have the same undertones I do and that's the biggest reason I'd say no to being blonde. A good example of the haircolor is Jessica Alba, although I'd keep your blonde highlights a little less golden than hers are right now.

If you want some examples and/or pictures of the cut and/or color, feel free to email me. Yes to dark blonde no to Paris Hilton blonde. Good luck and I hope this helps you.Would I look good blonde? hair coloring advice would be helpful :)?
yea you would but you should keep your skin tone the way it is..most models are light skin btw!..anyways i think you should do a very light blone like the olsen twin in this pic but the same light color in the front where your bangs are as well

OMG you would look g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s you shouldnt go to light though... and use the healthy king of coloring stuff, or go to a profesional....

    good luck!!!
I think you would look better with your current hair color.

You COULD pull off blonde hair, but the hair color you have now makes you look pretty.
Year, you could pull off a darker blonde with some lighter (two shades lighter than your hair color MAX) highlights.
    yeah but don't do it!!!!

the red/brown makes you look mysterious and interesting.

take it from me i regretted going blonde alot!
    Yup :]

but id personatlly go with a chestnut brown.

But it would look good blonde if you kept up on it to get rid of the roots ;)

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>

    oh and dont get highlights!

blonde highlights on brunettes usually ends up looking bad! What red or blonde hair colors would look good on me?
Red hair would look better on you. Blonde is too common as is brown. Dye it a natrual red though. It bugs me when people dye it that fake blood red color. Dye it the way redheads look. Their IS a difference between having red hair and being a red head. Having red hair is just having red hair and not looking like it really belongs. Being a red head is having the porcelin skin tone, the curly/wavy cascading locks of coppery red flowing down your back. Red hair is unique and less than 5% of the population has natural red hair. Brown hair is poop color and blonde is just plain boring and ugly. Please don't get a spray tan though--they are ugly too.
Do blonde, my skin is very close to that color and my hair is even more blonde than that and my natural colors is about that color it will definately look pretty
i would suggest getting ask blonde highlights :]

you face and hair color now is super gorgeous and if you get ash blonde highlights it will look better :]

    btw your super pretty
im naturally blonde and idk why anyone would want to dye their hair blonde. i hate my hair. especially because of the dumb blonde jokes
i actually really like that blonde

it wouldnt be too drastic of a change since your hair is already pretty light but it would suit you well =]
brown looks aboslutly gorgeous on you i think you should keep it :]
    Green
    blonde looks good

i say you go for it

    :)
