it says on the paper in the box how long to wait.. i think its 3 weeks

make sure to get a drabber.. you can get these at sally beauty supply for like a dollar. i use the red gold corrector.. otherwise your hair will turn brassy or come out in a shade you hate..

if your hair is damaged and dried out and you dye it blonde, you will get a green tint.. so make sure you dont dye too often and make sure to use conditioner.. also if you ever try to go to brown or brunette after bleaching you will get very green, grey hair.. so if you ever decide to go darker after bleaching (which is what you do to go lighter, even if its just a little lighter) then make sure to see a professional or get your hair stripped first

p.s. make sure NOT to use shampoo until the next day or you will undo the dying that you did and it will fade back

when i first started doing my hair i bought the little spray bottle.. ';sun in'; i think is what its called.. spray it on your hair then blow dry it bc it is heat activated.. it works (my hair got noticably lighter and had highlights) and its not as damagingHow to get the blonde hair color i want at home?
to go blond, people who aren't naturally so use bleach (peroxide) as normal hair dye isn't effective and can turn your hair orange. be careful as you don't wanna go white blond haha.. keep it in for a short period of time.
