Where can I buy Clairol Born Blonde Hair Color?

I live and Canada and I assume it can be bought here.. (I hope!)

Can it be bought at Sally's? Or Shoppers Drug Mart? Or Wal-Mart?

Where can I buy it? I'm going to dye my hair blonde and I have auburn/red hair right now, But I don't want to bleach my hair. My aunts hairdresser said that bleaching my hair could damage it badly.Where can I buy Clairol Born Blonde Hair Color?
whoa . . . slow down...

1st as a long time hair stylist/colourist....there is a rule about taking a redhead %26gt; blonde...

the rule is : don't.

unless you are not a real redhead....

there are many different types of redheads....if you are the natural type%26gt; freckling skin, pale, unable to tan..of Irish decent.

I would truly think twice ( I AM A ONE OF THESE, also!) ...

if not then going blonde would maybe be alright...

do NOT think bleach is bad for hair....

sometimes bleach is the exact proper tool.....just depends on the goal.....

is your hair healthy to start with?

If its thick and healthy to begin with there is no reason you cannot use any of the many ways to go blonde.

My theory is that ';boxed'; hair kits are the ruin of all hair via hair color...

There is no way they can have the proper options available in one box. . . . NONE.

I think they should be banned as False advertising.

What I think you should do is .... find a photo or email me a photo of your hair and I would be more than happy to tell you what to buy to properly get your hair from auburn to blond...safely - easily....

I am working on an easy way for all to post on my hair blog for those of you that cannot afford to go to a Salon . . I did not realize it was quite the problem it is.....there is a chart on there now that everyone that wants to change their hair to another color needs to get used to... in order to dye your hair another color then everyone needs to learn a little bit about the technical world of hair color. Its not hard...its just a little foreign at the beginning.

What we first need to learn is the ';level'; of your VIRGIN hair color....your virgin hair is you hair with absolutely NOTHING on it if you have put any sort of hair color altering solutions on the hair whether it be henna, or sun-in, or vegeteble dyes, or Bigen (natural hair dye)..anything than it is not virgin.

YOur goal should be to use the best way to turn your hair blonde...if your hair is very dark red there is absolutely NO WAY that a Blonde hair color will be strong enough to lighten your hair to the proper color. That is what the problem is for many that use store hair color....they error on the side of not using strong enough color and end up with orange or yellow......Where can I buy Clairol Born Blonde Hair Color?
